How to Play

Ludo is a classic dice and race game where each player controls four pieces from their house using a set of dice. Currently, Naija Ludo supports two players, each with two houses, managing a total of eight pieces. The objective is to move all your pieces to the center of the board before your opponent does.

Movement of Pieces

The game starts with the player having the red house. A piece can only exit its house with a dice roll of 6, but once on the track, it can move with any dice outcome. Pieces navigate a 56-step track from their home to the center of the board. A piece is removed from play either by completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.

Piece Capture

Capturing an opponent's piece is key to the game. If your piece lands on a space occupied by an opponent's piece, you capture it, sending it back to its home while your piece is removed from the board. The strategy lies in maximizing captures while minimizing being captured. Note that a piece cannot capture if the remaining dice outcome cannot be used.

Important Notes

  1. A player can roll the dice consecutively only if each roll results in a 6.
  2. You must play the outcome of a dice roll before rolling again, no matter the result.
  3. For a smoother and faster game experience, enable DIRECT COUNT in the settings.
