Tute

Tute is one of the most popular card games in Spain and has also gained significant popularity in Latin America. This engaging game can be enjoyed by 2 to 5 players individually, or by four players divided into teams of two.

The objective of Tute is to be the first player or team to reach a predetermined number of points. The game uses a Spanish deck consisting of forty cards. The card hierarchy, from highest to lowest, is as follows: Ace (valued at 11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), and then 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (the white cards, which have no point value).

In each round, the first card played sets the suit that must be followed by all players. If a player does not have a card of the leading suit, they may play any card, including trump cards. The highest card of the trump suit always wins the trick, but if no trump cards are played, the trick is won by the highest card of the leading suit.

To maximize your score, don't forget to "Sing 20" and "Sing 40"! Singing "Tute" can also lead to victory!
