Frantics

To dive into the fun-filled world of Frantics™ on your PlayStation®4, you'll need the Frantics™ Companion App. As of the important announcement on December 14, 2023, there are some key updates regarding the companion apps for PlayLink games, including Frantics™, that you should be aware of.

For Android users, if you've already downloaded the Frantics™ Companion App to your current device or it's in your library, you're all set to keep playing. However, please note that the app is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11. So, if you're on a newer version, you'll need to have the app pre-installed to continue enjoying the game.

Apple iOS users, you're in luck! You can continue to play Frantics™ with the companion app, regardless of your iOS version. No worries about updates or compatibility here.

Frantics™ offers a delightful array of quirky mini-games for up to four players. From chaotic arena brawls to wacky races, the game is hosted by a charmingly unfair fox who loves to stir the pot by helping you sabotage your rivals—or helping them sabotage you! It's all in good fun.

Joining in is a breeze. Just use your smartphone or tablet as a controller. Shake, tilt, swipe, and snap your way through the games. You might even get a secret mission call from the Fox himself!

To get started, ensure your PS4™ console is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device. Then, follow the in-app instructions to connect and you're ready to roll. With the Frantics™ Companion App, you can:

• Choose an animal to play as and shake your device to randomize your choice.
• Snap a selfie to identify yourself in the game.
• Play nice or engage in some friendly sabotage during mini-games using your own screen.
• Receive texts and calls from the Fox to gain an edge in the game.

The app supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Mexican Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

PlayLink for PS4™ titles are designed to bring people together for social gaming fun.
