Introducing the Score Sheet Scanner for digitizing your chess games, making it easier than ever to transform your handwritten records into digital format. With our app, you can effortlessly scan your score sheets to generate and analyze your games.

The scanner extracts text from your score sheets to produce a digital version of your game. An overview will display the score sheet alongside the generated moves, allowing you to quickly identify any errors. If moves are incorrectly recognized, our intuitive interface makes it simple to correct them using move suggestions, ensuring accuracy and ease of use.

Once your game is digitized, you can categorize it into a tournament, analyze it on platforms like Lichess or Chess.com, or export it as a PGN file for further study or sharing. This feature is particularly useful for tournament directors who need to manage multiple games efficiently.

Scanning the Score Sheets

Capture your score sheets using our integrated scanner or select them from your gallery. The app can handle up to two score sheets per player, supporting both White and Black perspectives. This flexibility is invaluable for ensuring comprehensive game data, especially in tournament settings.

Generate Game

After scanning, you can immediately generate the game or manually overlay the move grid for finer control. Our app supports various notations including English (N/B/R/Q/K), German (S/L/T/D/K), Dutch (P/L/T/D/K), Spanish/Italian (C/A/T/D/R), French (C/F/T/D/R), Portuguese (C/B/T/D/R), and Czech/Slovak (J/S/V/D/K). While other notations can be specified, accuracy might vary based on our existing model.

Game Generation

The game generation process involves sending the score sheets to our servers, with processing times varying based on the legibility of the sheets, game length, and your internet connection. Expect generation to take between 1 and 10 seconds typically.

Overview of the Generated Game

The overview presents the score sheet columns alongside the generated moves, with each move's background color indicating its recognition confidence. Tapping on a move instantly navigates you to the corresponding chess position, where you can explore alternative moves suggested by the app.

Move Suggestions

If a move is misread, our app offers move suggestions sorted by probability. You can refine these suggestions using a filter for the piece involved and regenerate the game from any point after making corrections.

Handling Crossed Out or Forgotten Moves

No worries if you've crossed out or forgotten moves on your score sheet. Our game overview allows you to skip or insert moves, and then regenerate the game with your adjustments seamlessly.

Game Data

Enhance your game records by adding player and tournament data, along with additional details in a description field. This helps in maintaining organized and comprehensive game archives.

Overview & Filtering of Games

Our app provides an overall view of all your entered games, with options to filter by tournament, round, and favorites. A search field also enables you to find games by player or game description quickly.

Exporting Games (*)

Export your games as PGN files, whether individually or in batches, with customizable data fields like tournament details, round, and date. This feature is available with our premium version.

Importing Games

You can import additional games into the app using PGN files, expanding your digital collection effortlessly.

Analyze Games (*)

Deepen your understanding of your games by analyzing them directly on Lichess and Chess.com, a feature exclusive to our premium users.
