Tongits is traditionally a three-player game using a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to minimize your hand's value by creating and playing melds (sets and runs), ultimately winning through "Tongits" (emptying your hand), "draw" (lowest hand value when the draw pile is depleted), or winning a challenge when another player calls "draw."

Gameplay:

• Setup: Each player receives 12 cards; the dealer gets 13. The remaining cards form the draw pile.
• Turns: Players take turns clockwise, drawing from either the draw or discard pile. They then form melds (sets of three or four same-rank cards, or runs of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) and discard a card.
• Winning: Win by "Tongits" (emptying your hand), "draw" (lowest hand value when the draw pile is exhausted), or winning a challenge ("fight") when another player calls "draw."
• Special Actions: "Burn" (inability to make a valid move results in a round loss) and strategic challenging add layers of depth.
• Scoring: Points are earned through melds and remaining hand value at the end of each round.
