Barrel declaration on "own turn":

Players with 880 points may declare barrel when having first bidding rights.

The "own turn" privilege grants automatic bidding victory and talon claim regardless of opponents' cards.

Failed attempts incur 120-point penalties and count toward the three-attempt limit before point reset.

Barrel attempts without "own turn" proceed normally but yield no points or attempt records.

Multiple players simultaneously qualifying for barrel play take turns based on seating order.
