How does my child learn?

Plingo features a variety of fun, interactive mini-games that make learning natural and enjoyable. Your child will develop key language skills through play, including:

• Listening – The mini-games include spoken challenges and real-time feedback, with a diverse range of characters. Your child’s ear will quickly pick up on words, grammar patterns, and the natural rhythm of English.
• Speaking – Yes, your child will speak to control gameplay! Starting with simple words, they’ll soon form full sentences. Our advanced, industry-leading speech recognition has been tested with children from nearly every country, language background, and dialect, achieving over 99% accuracy in controlled pre-launch trials.
• Vocabulary – With over 5,000 words and phrases, and new ones added weekly, your child will expand their vocabulary effortlessly and quickly.
• Reading – The mini-games combine reading and listening, helping your child grow confident in both skills at the same time.
• Pronunciation – Many learners pick up incorrect sounds early, leading to lasting unnatural accents. We prevent that. Your child will learn all 40 phonemes of English—the core sounds of the language—by breaking down words they hear, building words from sounds, and mastering correct pronunciation from the start.

Peripheral Learning

Research confirms that the most effective way to learn a language is through real-world, language-based activities. Our unique Peripheral Learning approach is powerful and seamless—your child will hardly notice they’re learning! Instead of memorizing random terms from unrelated games (like “Obsidian” in Minecraft), they’ll naturally absorb English as they progress through Plingo’s levels.

Who is Plingo for?
