Let me reveal Christmas's best-kept secret: Santa Claus perished centuries ago. In ancient times, as the old gods faded, Santa wed a goddess. She was known as Bast in Egypt, Artemis in Greece, and Diana in Rome. History has labeled her a witch, a hero, an assassin. You know her as Mrs. Claus.

"In the Service of Mrs. Claus" is a 188,000-word interactive fantasy thriller by Brian Rushton, where your decisions shape the narrative. This immersive experience is entirely text-based—relying on your imagination rather than graphics or sound—to bring its vast world to life.

After Santa's death, Mrs. Claus entrusted the essence of Christmas to Santa's Heart, sealing it within his high-security tomb beneath Claus Castle. Now, the Heart has been stolen. As Mrs. Claus's most trusted elf and top secret agent, you must go undercover to retrieve the Heart and reclaim Christmas from the forces of darkness.

Unravel the sinister secrets of the Fae as you conjure giant marshmallows and lethal candy canes, kindle romances with sweet allies or charming rogues, and race against the enigmatic Krinkle Corporation to prevent Christmas's destruction. In the final showdown, you must choose: wield your winter elf magic to vanquish the dark armies, or join their ranks and betray your mistress.

• Play as a shape-shifting elf who can alter gender, species, and form at will.

• Battle cults, gods, and massive corporations vying to topple Mrs. Claus's empire.

• Wield magic to execute covert missions as Mrs. Claus's secret operative.

• Visit children on Earth to judge if they're naughty or nice... and decide their gifts.

• Determine the fate of Christmas and the entire Fae realm.

• Uncover the truth behind Santa's demise.

• Befriend your foes or condemn them to the naughty list.

• Restore Mrs. Claus to power, betray her, or win her hand in marriage.

Christmas is coming. You'd better watch out.
