Taiko-san Daijiro

Dive into the rhythm with the application designed to play the tja files of "Taiko-san Jiro 2" right on your Android device. This app seamlessly integrates with the PC software "Taiko Sanjiro 2" to bring your favorite beats to your mobile experience. However, due to the vast array of Android devices, we're unable to test them all. We apologize, but we cannot support devices that fail to start the app.

Please note, we do not provide assistance on acquiring TJA files or skins. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

How to Add a Song

Upon first launching the app, a "TJA" folder will be created in the root directory of your device's storage or SD card. Here's how to organize your music:

• Create a genre folder within the "TJA" folder.
• Place your TJA file inside this genre folder.
• If there's no genre.ini file in the genre folder, the genre will default to "Uncategorized".
• Note that on Android 4.4 and later, you might not be able to save high scores.
• A new "record location" setting has been added. Select your preferred package here.

How to Add Skins

The app supports skins from "Taiko Sanjiro 2", though some features may not be fully implemented. Skins from the original "Taiko-san Jiro" are not compatible. To use skins, read the theme-default/default.csv file. Be aware that performance might be slower depending on your device and the complexity of the skin data.

Contents of genre.ini

Without this file, the folder won't be recognized as a genre folder. Here's what should be in the genre.ini:
