Duck Hunt is a classic light gun shooter game

In Duck Hunt, players aim to shoot ducks appearing on-screen. Ducks emerge singly or in pairs, with players having three shots to hit them before they vanish. Points are awarded for each duck shot. Advancing to the next round requires hitting the required number of ducks; failing results in a game over.

As players progress, difficulty ramps up with faster-moving targets and a higher minimum number of ducks to shoot. Points are earned per target hit, with bonus points for clearing all ten targets in a round. The game tracks the highest score in a session, but it resets when the game is turned off.
