We're excited to announce that we've updated 2GIS! The current version struggled to display all the rich details about cities and companies, so we've revamped the app. The new 2GIS features a fresh design, an enhanced search function, improved city updates, and we've integrated favorites with 2gis.ru for a seamless experience.

Services, addresses, and companies

With 2GIS, you can easily find out which service provider operates in your building, locate your nearest district hospital, or find a post office. Our app helps you choose cafes or service centers based on reviews and photos, and provides essential information like opening hours and contact numbers.

Transport and navigation

For drivers, 2GIS offers real-time voice-guided navigation, taking into account traffic jams and roadblocks. It dynamically updates your route if you stray from the planned path. For pedestrians, we provide multiple transit options, including buses, metro, trains, cable cars, and river trams.

Walking routes

Our pedestrian navigation feature guides you wherever you can walk, offering background operation and voice guidance for a seamless experience.

Friends on the map

Stay connected with 2GIS's new feature that lets you see your friends' and kids' real-time locations on the map. You control who can see your location and manage your visibility through settings.

Building entrances

No more wandering around to find the right entrance to a business center. 2GIS has detailed information on how to enter over 2.5 million companies. Whether you're using public transport or driving, we'll guide you right to the doorstep.

Plans of shopping centres

Navigate effortlessly inside shopping centers with 2GIS. Find everything from shops and cafes to ATMs and restrooms. Plan your visit in advance to save time.

2GIS beta Notifications companion app for smart watches on Wear OS

Enhance your navigation experience with our beta companion app for Wear OS smartwatches. This handy tool allows you to view maps, receive maneuver hints, and get vibration alerts for turns or approaching bus stops directly from your wrist. The app starts automatically when you initiate navigation on your phone and is compatible with Wear OS 3.0 and later.

By using the beta version, you'll receive the latest updates as we fix bugs and errors, contributing directly to the development of a new 2GIS version that millions will soon use. You can run both the original and beta versions simultaneously and switch between them as needed.

• Enhanced Map Visuals: Enjoy wide, realistic roads on the main map and during route searches for a more immersive experience.
• Chats for Friends: Stay connected with our new in-app messaging feature. Chat with friends without leaving the map.
• Friend Proximity Notifications: Get notified when a friend is nearby. This feature can be toggled off in settings.
• Ski Lift Statuses: Just in time for ski season, we've added real-time statuses of ski lifts on slopes.
• Walking Steps in Public Transport Routes: If your public transport journey includes walking, we'll now calculate and display the walking portion in steps for better planning.
