Rules of the Game Svara (Svarka)

Svara (Svarka) is an engaging card game that utilizes a deck of 32 cards, ranging from 7 to Ace. It can be enjoyed with a minimum of two players, and the game boasts a total of 4,960 possible combinations, ensuring endless excitement and strategic depth.

Rules

In Svara, each player is dealt three cards in a clockwise direction. The objective is to accumulate the highest number of points based on the cards in hand. The value of each card combination is determined by the following rules:

1. Each card from 7 to 9 grants 7 to 9 points respectively.
2. The cards 10, J, Q, and K each contribute 10 points.
3. Aces are worth 11 points.
4. Cards of the same suit are summed to calculate points. For example, Q♦, K♦, and 10♠ total 20 points, while 10♠, 8♠, and K♥ sum to 18 points.
5. Aces can be combined irrespective of suit; two Aces give 22 points, and three Aces yield 33 points.
6. The 7♣, known as "Ceco Jonchev, Chechak, Chotora, Shpoka, or Yoncho," can be paired with any other card to score 11 points.
7. Three 7s combine to give a formidable 34 points, marking it as the strongest hand in the game.
8. Three of a kind are valued at three times the point value of the lead card. For instance, three 8s equate to 24 points (3x8=24), while three Queens score 30 points (3x10=30).

To illustrate, consider these examples:

• 7♥, 9♦, 9♣ yield a total of 9 points, representing the weakest hand.
• 10♠, 10♦, 10♣ give a total of 30 points.
• 8♣, K♥, 9♦ sum to 10 points.
• K♥, 9♥, Q♣ total 19 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, 9♦ combine for 10 points.
• A♠, A♦, 10♣ score 22 points.
• 8♠, A♦, 7♣ also add up to 22 points.
• 10♦, 9♦, J♦ come to 29 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, Q♦ bring 30 points.
• 7♣, K♥, K♦ accumulate 31 points.
• 7♣, A♥, A♦ reach a high of 33 points.
• Two 7s, regardless of suit, total 23 points.

Betting

The betting system in Svara adds an extra layer of strategy and excitement:

1. Before the cards are dealt, each player places an initial bet known as the ante.
2. The player to the left of the dealer can make a blind bet before seeing their cards.
3. If a blind bet is placed, the next player to the left has the option to double it.
4. If a player opts out of the blind bet, subsequent players cannot initiate a new blind bet.
5. After the cards are dealt, players make their bets.
6. If a blind bet is in play, the next player must at least double the bet.
7. To see the cards of other players, the player who made the blind bet must match the bet.
8. If a blind bet goes unmatched, the player who made the last blind bet wins.
9. The player with the highest points wins the game.
10. If no blind bets or other bets are made, the dealer wins by default.
11. In the event of a tie, a new game called SVARA is initiated, incorporating all bets from the previous round.
12. Players can join the SVARA by paying the designated entry fee.
