New Feature Allows Players To Clear Bosses Without Combat

In the upcoming Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2), players can now clear bosses without engaging in combat. Hideo Kojima, the director of DS2, unveiled this feature during the latest episode of Koji Pro radio broadcasts on April 14. This option is designed to assist players who may not be as experienced in combat.

Kojima detailed that if players fail a boss fight, they can select "continue" on the game over screen. This choice will enable them to bypass the fight and move forward in the story. Instead of combat, the game will present images and text descriptions of the battle, akin to a visual novel experience. This approach ensures players can still absorb the narrative significance of the boss encounter without the need for combat.

Set to continue the saga from the first game, DS2 has garnered attention following a recent presentation at South by South West (SXSW) by Kojima Productions and Sony. The event featured a 10-minute trailer that offered glimpses into DS2's narrative, introduced new characters, and sparked excitement among fans.
