Shanghai follows classic mahjong solitaire rules where players clear the board by removing identical tile pairs.

How to Play

To successfully remove tiles, they must meet these conditions:

• Be completely uncovered on both sides (left and right)
• Have no other tiles stacked on top

Matching Rules

While most tiles require exact matches, there are special exceptions:

• Any flower tiles can be paired together
• Any seasonal tiles can be paired together
