Xbox recently teased WWE 2K25 with screenshots showcasing updated character models for CM Punk, Damien Priest, Liv Morgan, and Cody Rhodes, strongly suggesting their inclusion in the game's roster. With WWE 2K24 launching in March 2024, speculation points towards a similar release window for its sequel in 2025, although no official date has been confirmed.

The cover star remains a mystery, despite a Steam page leak hinting at a potential candidate. Official confirmation, however, is expected on January 28, 2025, according to a link shared by the WWE Games Twitter account. This follows a tradition of featuring prominent WWE superstars on the cover, from legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock to current stars such as Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair.

Xbox's Twitter post, celebrating WWE RAW's Netflix debut, featured the aforementioned screenshots. The updated visuals, particularly Cody Rhodes' improved likeness and Liv Morgan's accurate portrayal, generated significant buzz among fans. The tweet also sparked inquiries about potential Xbox Game Pass availability, though this remains unconfirmed.
