WoW Unveils Exciting News for Missed Anniversary Triumph

World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Celebration Crates

World of Warcraft players can still earn the coveted Detective title and pursue the elusive Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. The key is Alyx, the Lightforged Draenei NPC. Alyx has relocated to Dornogal, specifically to the hot springs area northwest of the Delver's Headquarters, near the Foundation Hall.

Alyx maintains their board of clues, guiding players to locate 11 missing Celebration Crates scattered throughout the world. These crates are crucial; collecting them unlocks achievements and ultimately, the Detective title. This title is the prerequisite for initiating the questline leading to the Incognitro mount.

Obtaining the Detective Title:

1. Locate Alyx: Find Alyx in Dornogal, between the Delver's Headquarters and the Foundation Hall stairs.
2. Gather the Clues: Examine Alyx's board to uncover the locations of the 11 missing Celebration Crates. Note that players need to be level 10 to begin Celebration Crate quests, but must reach level 68 to access Dornogal.
3. Collect the Crates: Find and collect all 11 crates. Submitting six earns the "Crate Insurance Agent" achievement, while all 11 unlock "No Crate Left Behind," "Azeroth's Greatest Detective," and the crucial Detective title.

Important Note: While the Detective title and Incognitro mount questline remain accessible, other Guest Relations quests from the anniversary event are no longer available. Achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager" and "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats," along with their associated rewards, are now unobtainable.

This strategic relocation of Alyx ensures that players won't be permanently locked out of obtaining the Detective title and the rare Incognitro mount. While some anniversary content is lost, the persistence of this particular questline offers a lasting reward for dedicated players.
