WoW Offers Reprieve for Lapsed Anniversary Currency

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.

The WoW 20th-anniversary event, concluding after 11 weeks, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Unspent tokens could previously be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.

Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will not be used again, prompting this automatic conversion in Patch 11.1 to prevent unused tokens from cluttering player inventories. The conversion ratio mirrors the in-event exchange rate.

While Patch 11.1 lacks an official release date, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and following the conclusion of the Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events (ending February 17th and 24th respectively).

This means the conversion will likely happen after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes. Timewarped Badges can be used across various Timewalking campaigns, and their associated rewards remain permanently available.
