Mark your calendars for April 27th, when from 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time, Vanillite will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Keep your eyes peeled, as you might just encounter its elusive Shiny variant.

The fun doesn't end with catching Vanillite. If you evolve it into Vanilluxe during the event or up to May 4th, you'll unlock the powerful Charged Attack, Avalanche. This move boasts 90 power in Trainer Battles and 85 power in Gyms and Raids, making it a valuable asset to your battle strategy.

For those looking to delve deeper into the icy festivities, a Community Day Special Research ticket is available for just $2. By completing these tasks, you'll have the chance to encounter Vanillite against a special Might and Mastery-themed background, along with additional Vanillite encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more.

The excitement extends with a Timed Research opportunity that lasts through the following week, offering another shot at capturing a Vanillite with the exclusive event background. Additionally, themed Field Research tasks will be available, providing opportunities to earn Stardust, Great Balls, and further encounters with Vanillite. Some tasks might even lead to a Vanillite with the special event backdrop.

Throughout the event, several bonuses will be in effect to enhance your gameplay. You'll earn triple XP for catches, double Candy for each Pokémon caught, and if you're level 31 or above, double the odds of receiving Candy XL.
