Type: Null, Ultra Beasts Enter Pokemon TCG Pocket's Extradimensional Crisis Expansion

by Amelia May 28,2025

Haven't finished collecting all the cards from the Celestial Guardians Expansion of Pokemon TCG Pocket, which was released just three weeks ago? Well, get ready for another exciting addition! The Extradimensional Crisis expansion is set to launch on May 29, and it introduces the intriguing Ultra Beasts and the mysterious chimera Pokemon, Type: Null.

Extradimensional Crisis dives into the world of Ultra Beasts, those quirky alien-like creatures that played a significant role in Pokemon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. Confirmed cards in this expansion include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Alongside these, we'll see more Alola Pokemon joining the roster from the Celestial Guardians, and the inclusion of Type: Null hints at the likely arrival of its evolution, Silvally.

With the launch of a new expansion comes fresh cosmetics. Starting May 29, players can snag an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover by using shop tickets. Additionally, a floral display board will be available for purchase with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event, kicking off on June 11.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has been consistently rolling out expansions since its debut last year. Although Extradimensional Crisis is categorized as a minor booster expansion, featuring just one booster pack type, it follows closely on the heels of previous releases. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller expansion, joining the ranks of Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Importantly, none of these expansions have been phased out yet, and they remain accessible in the game... at least for the time being.
