Terminator 2D: NO FATE Expands Franchise in New Game

Bitmap Bureau studio has revealed a retro-styled side-scrolling game inspired by the blockbuster film Terminator 2.

While drawing from the legendary sequel, the developers confirm fresh narrative arcs and branching endings - though classic cinematic moments remain faithfully recreated.

Players will alternately control the T-800 cyborg, Sarah Connor, and adult John Connor. The first two characters face off against the liquid metal T-1000, while John leads humanity's resistance movement.

The trailer showcases Terminator 2's iconic musical theme alongside nostalgic scenes reinterpreted through striking pixel art. Beyond the campaign, multiple arcade challenges will be included.

Scheduled for release on September 5, 2025, the game will be available across modern gaming platforms and PC.
