Partner/Indie World Showcase Delivers a Bounty of Games

Nintendo's strategic showcase format delivered a wave of announcements. Highlights include surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remasters, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new Atelier and Rune Factory titles, and much more. I highly recommend watching the full video for a complete overview. There's something for everyone!

Select New Releases

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)

A fantastic surprise release! This third Castlevania compilation features the three Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. It also includes the notoriously bad arcade game, Haunted Castle, alongside an M2-developed remake that significantly improves upon the original. M2's excellent emulation and features make this a phenomenal value.

Pizza Tower ($19.99)

This Wario Land-inspired platformer is another surprise hit. Players must navigate five massive floors of the Pizza Tower to save their restaurant. Fans of Wario's handheld adventures will love this, but even casual platforming enthusiasts should give it a try. A review is pending.

Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)

Another unexpected release! It's Goat Simulator 3. If you're familiar with the series, you know what to expect. Performance on the Switch is uncertain, as more powerful systems have experienced some issues. Proceed with caution, but even poor performance might add to the game's chaotic charm. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide if this open-world goat simulator is for you.

Peglin ($19.99)

I believe EA missed a huge opportunity by not bringing PopCap games to the Switch. However, Peglin scratches that Peggle itch perfectly. This mobile hit is now available on Switch, blending Peggle mechanics with turn-based RPG roguelite elements. A full review is coming soon.

Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)

Kairosoft's latest shop sim utilizes the popular Doraemon license. It's a typical Kairosoft experience, but with added charm from the beloved characters. Fans of the series and Kairosoft's formula will appreciate this title.

Pico Park 2 ($8.99)

More Pico Park for existing fans! Up to eight players can enjoy local or online multiplayer in this cooperative puzzle game. The more players, the merrier! While a solid addition, it doesn't offer much new for newcomers.

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)

A budget-friendly rhythm game featuring Kamitsubaki Studio music. Simple yet enjoyable, especially considering the price.

SokoPenguin ($4.99)

A classic Sokoban-style puzzle game with a penguin twist. One hundred levels await.

Q2 Humanity ($6.80)

Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles. Players use character abilities and drawing to solve problems. Supports up to four players locally or online.
