Swing Into ‘Marvel Snap’ With The Amazing Spider-Season

Marvel Snap's Amazing Spider-Season Swings into Action!

September brings a thrilling new season to Marvel Snap (Free), themed around everyone's favorite web-slinger and his extensive rogues gallery: the Amazing Spider-Season! This season introduces a game-changing mechanic: Activate abilities. Unlike "On Reveal," Activate abilities let you choose precisely when to unleash their effects, adding a strategic layer to gameplay.

The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man (4-Cost, 6-Power), embodies this new mechanic. His Activate ability lets you absorb the lowest-cost card at a location and copy its text, even re-triggering On Reveal effects! Prepare for some seriously chaotic combinations, especially with cards like Galactus.

Beyond Symbiote Spider-Man, the season introduces several other exciting additions:

• Silver Sable: (1-Cost, 1-Power) On Reveal: Steals 2 Power from the top card of your opponent's deck. A powerful disruption tool.
• Madame Web: (Ongoing): Allows you to move one card at her location to another location once per turn. Tactical repositioning is key!
• Arana: (1-Cost, 1-Power) Activate: Moves the next card you play to the right and gives it +2 Power. A game-changer for move-based strategies.
• Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): (4-Cost, 5-Power) Activate: Spawns an identical clone at another location. Double the trouble!

Two new locations also join the fray:

• Brooklyn Bridge: A classic Spider-Man location with a twist – you can't play cards there on consecutive turns.
• Otto's Lab: The next card played here pulls a card from your opponent's hand into play. Expect the unexpected!

This Spider-themed season offers exciting new strategic possibilities thanks to the introduction of Activate abilities.
