Sign Up Guide: Battlefield Labs and Battlefield 6 Early Access
EA has finally unveiled Battlefield Studios and given us a sneak peek at the highly anticipated next installment in the *Battlefield* series. To play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this iconic franchise, you can sign up for Battlefield Labs and secure early access to *Battlefield 6*. Here’s your guide to getting involved.
What is Battlefield Labs?
EA is reaching out to the gaming community for crucial feedback on the next *Battlefield* game through a new initiative called Battlefield Labs. This program offers a select group of fans the chance to "step inside the war room" and engage in early remote playtests. Participants will provide invaluable feedback directly to the developers at EA’s Battlefield Studios.
Initially, Battlefield Labs will launch with a few thousand players in Europe and North America, with the intention of expanding to other regions and scaling up to tens of thousands of players. The program will be accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, ensuring a broad reach across different platforms.
Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta? Answered
Unlike the traditional Beta tests EA has conducted for previous *Battlefield* titles, Battlefield Labs operates on a different level. The content accessible through Battlefield Labs will be in a much earlier, work-in-progress stage, featuring more bugs, rough edges, and potential technical issues than what you’d typically find in a Beta.
The goal of Battlefield Labs is to gather essential feedback on core gameplay elements such as the combat loop, map flow, and balance, which will directly influence the development of the upcoming *Battlefield* game. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and are prohibited from sharing any information publicly.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play *Battlefield 6* Early Access
To join the Battlefield Labs program and potentially gain early access to *Battlefield 6*, head over to the Battlefield Labs webpage. Here, you can learn more about the program and sign up for a chance to participate. You’ll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred gaming platform, and then sign in. Be prepared for a possible queue to enter the EA website; if you find yourself in one, keep an eye on the tab, as you’ll have only 15 minutes to enter once it’s your turn.
Once you gain access to the sign-up page, fill out the required information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, which will include playtest information if you’re selected.
EA has confirmed that the next *Battlefield* game is slated for release within their fiscal year 2026, meaning *Battlefield 6* is expected to launch before April 1, 2026. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting journey!
