Shining Revelry Expansion Launches for Pokemon TCG Pocket, Ranked Matches Teased

The latest expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket has introduced a dazzling array of shiny variants, enriching the game with over 110 new cards. Named "Shining Revelry," this expansion not only brings sparkle to your collection but also includes cards from the Paldea region, adding even more excitement to your gameplay. As soon as the update dropped, I couldn't resist spending my Pack Hourglasses to open ten packs. To my delight, I pulled a Charizard EX, although the rest of the haul was less impressive.

However, finding the Pokemon Center Lady card among the bunch was a small victory. Her ability to heal Special Conditions like Burn can be a game-changer in tight spots. This addition feels like a handy trick up my sleeve.

Following the trend of previous expansions, Shining Revelry also introduces an Emblem event, where you can earn stylish new badges to show off to your friends. The highlight of this update, though, is the introduction of Ranked Matches. You'll be able to test your skills against other Trainers, climbing from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Your progress will be tracked with points, and at the end of the season, which lasts about a month, you'll receive an emblem to commemorate your achievements. This means it's time for me to dust off my dueling skills and start crafting some competitive decks.
