What's Coming to Gielinor?

Get ready for Group Ironman mode, launching later this year. Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative, self-sufficient RuneScape experience. No outside help allowed – it's just you and your crew against the world!

This autumn, prepare to conquer The Gate of Elidinis, a challenging new skilling boss. This encounter is part of a larger story quest, leading you to a hidden shrine dedicated to the goddess Elidinis within the Sanctum of Rebirth.

Multiple story quests are planned for 2024 and 2025, starting with a winter release revisiting classic storylines. Amascut's unfinished business in the desert is heating up, leading to a climactic confrontation. The Desert Finale quests will culminate in a brand-new end-game boss fight against Amascut, the Devourer.

Skilling fans rejoice! Over 110 skilling updates are on the way. This year brings Woodcutting & Fletching updates with a new skill tree and weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are slated for 2025.

Seasonal events return! The Harvest Hollow event arrives later this year, featuring a new quest, spooky rewards, and seasonal activities. The festive Christmas Village returns as the year winds down, bringing new quests, activities, and holiday rewards.

Beyond 2024: A Look Ahead

A major area expansion is planned for late 2025. Additionally, Jagex is delivering on many player requests, including new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a new Slayer monster.
