Rumor: Genshin Impact Leaks Popular Character\

Genshin Impact Leak Suggests Wriothesley Rerun in Version 5.4

A recent leak hints at a potential Wriothesley rerun in Genshin Impact Version 5.4, marking his return after a year-long absence since his debut in Version 4.1. This news comes amidst ongoing concerns regarding the game's banner scheduling. With over 90 playable characters and limited rerun slots, maintaining a fair system for character re-releases proves challenging. Even with the introduction of the Chronicled Banner, designed to alleviate this issue, wait times remain extensive, as evidenced by Shenhe's over 600-day wait for a rerun.

The leak, originating from Flying Flame, a leaker with a mixed track record, suggests Wriothesley will be featured in Version 5.4's Event Banners. While this information should be treated cautiously, the recent Spiral Abyss buff does enhance Wriothesley's Cryo Catalyst capabilities, lending some credibility to the rumor. His Burnmelt team compositions are known for significant damage output, making a rerun highly anticipated by players.

Version 5.4 is also anticipated to introduce Mizuki, potentially Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. If the leak proves accurate, and Mizuki and Wriothesley share the Event Banners, the remaining 5-star spot would likely be filled by either Furina or Venti, as they are the only Archons yet to receive sequential reruns. The launch of Version 5.4 is currently projected for February 12, 2025. Until the implementation of triple banners, extended rerun wait times for many characters, including Wriothesley, are unfortunately expected to continue.
