Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 Unveils Innovative eSports Team Format in Tennis Clash

Following the thrilling competition of last year, the Roland-Garros eSeries is set to return in 2025, inviting players from around the globe to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year introduces an exciting team-based format, legendary tennis captains, and a €5,000 prize pool that's up for grabs.

Renault and Mastercard are returning as key sponsors, enhancing the experience with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits for character customization and the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.

When Does It Start?

The Roland-Garros eSeries will commence in March, starting with open qualifiers that serve as the initial battleground for players aiming to secure a spot in the finals. The qualifiers are scheduled across three stages: March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, which will determine the elite contenders.

The top female players from the first two qualifiers will join the overall winners. The ultimate showdown will take place at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, with a live audience cheering on the finalists. The entire event will be broadcasted live on Twitch, ensuring fans worldwide can tune in.

What’s New This Year?

This year, the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 breaks from tradition by introducing a team-based format. Instead of individual play, finalists will be organized into teams, each under the leadership of a prominent figure in French tennis. Gilles Simon, a former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has been confirmed as one of the team captains. Simon, who has served as a commentator since 2023 and played in the Top 8 in 2024, will guide one squad. The identity of his rival captain, teased to be a Grand Slam winner, remains a thrilling mystery.

Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?

Once the teams are finalized, the competition will intensify. The winning team from the initial phase will advance to the winner's side of the double-elimination bracket, while the losing team will start in the loser's bracket.

Defending his title, Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco returns alongside the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's impressive participation of 548,000 players from 215 territories, this year's event promises to be even more competitive.
