In January, Bluepoch Games teased an exciting collaboration with Ubisoft, revealing plans for a Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character. The collaboration draws inspiration from two beloved titles in the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A January teaser showcased Vertin walking through a rainy street with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo glowing in the distance.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The highly anticipated crossover is set to launch globally on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond Ezio, players can look forward to a two-phase event filled with rich Assassin’s Creed-themed stories and activities.

Phase I: Dive into Renaissance Florence. Expect Vertin and her team to explore 15th-century Italy, uncovering cryptic clues and unraveling mysteries tied to this era.

Phase II: Step into ancient Greece, revisiting the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the original game will recognize familiar events and characters woven into Vertin’s journey.

A Unique Experience Like No Other

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all global servers are synchronized, ensuring every player experiences the event simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that combines modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to The Storm—a mysterious phenomenon causing entire eras to vanish. In her mission to save sensitive arcanists, Vertin travels through time alongside her partner, Sonetto.
