As summer reaches its peak and the weather improves (for most of us), the latest hot topic is Pokémon Go's upcoming July Community Day. This event, scheduled for Sunday, July 20th, brings players together with guaranteed Pokémon encounters, and here are the key details you need to know.

First, the featured Pokémon: this time it's Quaxly, which will appear much more frequently in the wild, including a chance to find a Shiny Quaxly.

If you're focused on evolution, evolving Quaxwell into Quaquaval during the event will grant it the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon—a special move with 80 Power in Trainer Battles and 90 Power in Gyms & Raids. Additionally, Quaquaval will now be able to learn the Charged Attack Aqua Step.

If it walks and talks like a Quaxly

For trainers aiming to power up Quaxly, this is the perfect opportunity. The event provides not only more encounters but also two new powerful attacks. Even if you already have plenty of Quaxly, there are many other bonuses to enjoy.
