PS Plus Free Games Announced for January 2025

January 2025's PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup: A Trio of Titles Available Until February 3rd

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three free games for January 2025: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are redeemable until Monday, February 3rd.

This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PlayStation 5 title from Rocksteady Studios, known for the Batman: Arkham series. Despite mixed reception upon its February 2024 release, PlayStation Plus members can now experience this action-packed title. It boasts the largest download size of the three, weighing in at 79.43 GB on PS5.

Completing the lineup is the remastered Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, available on PS4 (31.55 GB). While lacking a native PS5 version, it remains playable via backwards compatibility. Finally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe offers both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB) versions, featuring enhanced accessibility and additional content.

To download all three games, PS5 users should ensure they have approximately 117 GB of free storage space. Sony is anticipated to announce February 2025's PlayStation Plus offerings towards the end of January. The service will continue to expand throughout the year with new additions to the Extra and Premium tiers.
