Potential Pokemon Legends: Z-A Release Date Leaks Online

Pokemon Legends: Z-A: August 2025 Release Date Leak

Rumors suggest Pokemon Legends: Z-A may launch on August 15, 2025, following a brief appearance of this date on Amazon UK in early January 2025. This aligns with The Pokémon Company's previously stated 2025 release window.

Initially unveiled during the February 2024 Pokémon Day celebrations, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the anticipated sequel to 2022's Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Similar to its predecessor, it's expected to prioritize exploration and collection over traditional gym battles and the Pokémon League. Details remain scarce since its initial announcement.

The Amazon UK listing, quickly retracted, fueled speculation about the August release. This unconfirmed date fits within the previously announced 2025 timeframe.

February 2025 Confirmation Possible

The official release date may be revealed during Pokémon Day 2025, anticipated for February 27th—the anniversary of the original Japanese Pokémon Red and Green releases. This aligns with a dataminer's findings within the latest Pokémon GO update.

Beyond the release date, fans eagerly await a gameplay reveal, potentially debuting at the same Pokémon Day event.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A, initially confirmed as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, will also be playable on the upcoming Switch 2, thanks to backward compatibility. While past mainline Pokémon games have included paid DLC, Pokemon Legends: Arceus only received a single free post-launch update, "Daybreak."
