Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, including dates and locations. This announcement, made on January 6th, 2025, also revealed two additional events slated for January. Let's dive into the details!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The three-day Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will take place in three cities across different dates in June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

A World of Pokémon Awaits!

Pokémon GO Fest is renowned for its exclusive items, enhanced gameplay, and special bonuses. In-person events offer unique city-specific experiences. Tickets are required for both in-person and online participation.

Expect to encounter rare Pokémon unavailable through standard gameplay, boosted Shiny Pokémon rates, and location-specific spawns mirroring real-world habitats.

In-person attendees can also look forward to exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges for socializing with fellow trainers. While complete details are yet to be released, expect a similar format to previous Fests.

January Events: Shadow Pokémon and Fashion!

Beyond the Pokémon GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two exciting January events:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Rescue Shadow Palkia, encounter new Pokémon Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12 km Eggs), and discover other Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig. Snapping a photo might even reveal a fashionable Croagunk!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Challenge Five-Star Shadow Raids for a chance to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL odds, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh is also more likely, and lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
