Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Anti-Trans Comments

by Scarlett May 04,2025

Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in popular series like The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized JK Rowling for her recent statements against the transgender community. This backlash follows Rowling's support of the UK Supreme Court's decision to define "woman" legally as "a biological woman and biological sex," impacting transgender women's protections under the Equality Act.

Rowling celebrated the court's ruling with a social media post on Twitter/X, showcasing herself enjoying a cigar and a drink by the ocean, and captioned it with, "I love it when a plan comes together." This statement was in reference to her financial support for For Scotland Women, the organization behind the lawsuit.

In response to a video by writer and activist Tariq Raouf, who labeled Rowling's actions as "serious Voldemort villain sht," Pascal echoed the sentiment, describing Rowling's behavior as "Awful disgusting SHT" and "Heinous LOSER behavior."

Pascal's advocacy for transgender rights is not new. He has previously shared strong sentiments on social media, stating, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," accompanied by a photo advocating for the existence of trans people. Additionally, he made a statement at the premiere of Thunderbolts in London by wearing a shirt that read "Protect the dolls," a term used within the LGBTQIA+ community to refer to trans women.

His support is deeply personal as well; Pascal's sister, Lux Pascal, publicly came out as a trans woman in 2021. Pedro responded to her announcement with a heartfelt message on social media, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," translating to "My sister, my heart, our Lux," showcasing his unwavering support for her and the broader transgender community.
