Nolan North, Troy Baker Join PS5 Adventure Game Elite

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle Coming to PS5 with Early Access Option

Bethesda has confirmed that MachineGames' Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will arrive on PlayStation 5 on April 15 with early access, followed by worldwide release on April 17. Players who pre-order gain exclusive early entry.

The PS5 launch arrives four months after the game's debut on Xbox and PC, accompanied by a clever marketing trailer featuring two legendary video game voice actors sharing screen time.

A Meeting of Treasure Hunting Legends

The trailer features Troy Baker (Indiana Jones) in conversation with Nolan North, the iconic voice behind Uncharted's Nathan Drake. This pairing creates a poetic moment, as Drake's character draws direct inspiration from Indiana Jones.

Adding to the intrigue, Microsoft-owned Bethesda cast PlayStation's Uncharted star in their promotional material. While never explicitly mentioning Drake or Uncharted, North's performance carries undeniable references to his famous role.

North humorously implies he snuck into their lavish meeting space, joking about potential interruptions - mirroring Drake's adventurous encounters. Their banter continues as they compare adventuring styles: Baker's whip-wielding Indy versus North's firearm-preferring Drake archetype.

The actors bond over their shared passion for antiquities - though with differing motives (museum donation versus Black Market sales). Their exchange culminates in North welcoming Baker's Jones into "a very exclusive club" of digital adventurers.

Microsoft's Multiplatform Strategy Expands

This release continues Microsoft's cross-platform initiative, following Xbox exclusives like Forza Horizon 5 and the upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages migrating to PlayStation. Indiana Jones joins that growing list.

Having already attracted 4 million players through Xbox Game Pass, the PS5 launch will significantly expand Indy's digital adventuring audience.

Harrison Ford Endorses Baker's Performance

Original Indy actor Harrison Ford praised Baker's portrayal in interviews, contrasting it against concerns about AI recreations. "You don't need artificial intelligence to steal my soul," Ford remarked to The Wall Street Journal. "Troy did it brilliantly with talent alone."
