Nintendo Direct Set for March 2025, Switch 2 Follows Next Week
Get ready, gamers! Nintendo has just dropped the exciting news of a Nintendo Direct presentation set to air tomorrow. Mark your calendars and set your alarms because this event is one you won't want to miss.
Nintendo Direct March 2025 Livestream Starts at 7:00 A.M. PT / 10:00 A.M. ET
Nintendo of America has officially announced that a Nintendo Direct will be live tomorrow, March 27, starting at 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 AM ET. This 30-minute showcase will focus on providing updates and insights into the upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch. However, if you're hoping for news on the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, you'll need to hold off a bit longer; that reveal is set for April 2. Nintendo has made it clear that "there will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation."
Make sure you don't miss out by checking the livestream start time in your region:
Speculated Games Coming to Nintendo Switch
While Nintendo is keeping their cards close to the chest regarding specific announcements, the gaming community is buzzing with speculation. One of the most anticipated titles is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which has been in development since its first reveal at E3 2017.
Fans are also eagerly discussing potential announcements like Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a remaster of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and the new Mario Kart game that was teased during the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal. And let's not forget about Hollow Knight: Silksong, which has recently resurfaced in the news—could this be the time we finally get a release date? Fingers crossed!
It's important to note that while the Direct focuses on the current Nintendo Switch lineup, Nintendo has confirmed backward compatibility for the upcoming Switch 2. This means any game announced during tomorrow's Direct can also be enjoyed on the new console.
The excitement is building as we approach the presentation. Will there be surprise announcements? We'll have to wait and see. But one thing is for sure: Nintendo always keeps us on the edge of our seats.
