Neverness to Everness Begins Chinese Closed Beta

by Henry Feb 11,2025

Hotta Studios' upcoming 3D open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its initial closed beta test. Unfortunately, participation is limited to players residing in mainland China. However, interested parties worldwide can still follow the game's progress.

Gematsu recently highlighted new lore reveals for the game. If you've seen the trailers showcasing the city of Eibon (see below), the additions likely won't be a surprise. The updates include a more comedic story tone and further glimpses into the blend of bizarre and ordinary elements within Hetherau.

Hotta Studios, a subsidiary of Perfect World (creators of the successful Tower of Fantasy), is venturing into the evolving landscape of 3D urban RPGs. Neverness to Everness distinguishes itself with several unique features.

One standout feature is open-world driving. Players can experience the thrill of high-speed city driving, complete with customizable vehicles and realistic crash physics. Remember to drive responsibly!

Upon release, Neverness to Everness will encounter strong competition from titles like MiHoYo's Zenless Zone Zero and NetEase's Ananta (formerly Project Mugen), both of which occupy similar niches within the mobile 3D open-world RPG market.
