Android Nekopara Sekai Connect Pre-Registration Begins

First unveiled at Comiket this past December, the newest entry in the Nekopara series is on its way. Titled Nekopara Sekai Connect, it has begun pre-registration for mobile and PC platforms. This latest installment signals a fresh evolution for the beloved franchise.

It brings back the distinctive art style crafted by the original creator, Sayori, who is handling both the writing and illustrations. Development is led by Neko Works, with publishing handled by Good Smile Company.

This time, however, the gameplay takes a significant turn. Sekai Connect is a visual novel integrated with a full social game experience. Engage in semi-automated battles, manage your own shop in sandbox mode, and enjoy rhythm game sections set to original songs and music videos.

The story unfolds in a near-future world where AI-generated Nekos coexist with humanity. These catgirls appear human but possess unique feline traits. You are the operator of La Soleil, a patisserie familiar to long-time fans of the series.

One day, you receive an invitation to the Neko Festival, a global competition where Nekos and their owners vie to become the most adored. The victor is granted a wish by the AI that created the Nekos.

In Nekopara Sekai Connect, the cats hail from all corners of the globe. The game introduces five distinct schools, each with new characters. Sakuragaoka Neko Gakuen features Yuzuha; Kinka Neko Science Academy welcomes Quince and Gertrude; Neko Gakuin introduces Sable and Canelé. Meanwhile, Bastet Neko Graduate School includes Palmyra, and Nekos Youth Academy presents Donut.

Nekopara Sekai Connect Is Now Open for Pre-Registration

For those wishing to revisit the classic tales, they will be available in a remastered format. The original Volumes 0 through 4, along with Extra, will be re-released as part of the Nekopara Love Project. These remakes will include new episodes, music, and voice acting.
