Digital Eclipse, the studio renowned for its retro game remasters, has revealed its next project: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection. This compilation bundles classic entries from the legendary fighting franchise with modern enhancements.

The announcement arrived during June 2025's PlayStation State of Play, accompanied by a reveal trailer confirming the collection will include Mortal Kombat 1 through 4, plus Mortal Kombat 3: Ultimate, among other titles. The bundle is slated for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year.
