"Monster Hunter Now Tests New Outbreaks Feature"
Exciting times are ahead for fans of Monster Hunter Now, as Niantic introduces a new feature called Monster Outbreaks. This innovative addition is currently in its testing phase, allowing players to provide feedback and help refine the feature before its official release.
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks is scheduled to run from April 26th to April 27th. Each day, the event will occur twice, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. During these windows, specific outbreak points on the map will be teeming with 8-star Black Diablos. The objective is for players to collaborate and take down a total of 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak location within the one-hour timeframe.
To participate, you must have a Hunter Rank (HR) of 11 or higher. Note that the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a unique icon, and you can tap on them to view details. Additionally, a sign-up roster at each spot allows you to coordinate with other players.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The mechanics of the slay count are particularly intriguing. If you and three other hunters successfully take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the goal of 100. Should your group reach the 100-mark before the time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.
Achieving the 100-monster goal comes with rewarding loot: 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster grants you a chance to earn the special Outbreak Test I Medal.
Are you eager to join the Monster Outbreaks testing? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and dive into the action this weekend.
