Monopoly GO! Launches Into Galactic Adventure With Star Wars Crossover

Following last year's Marvel collaboration, Monopoly GO! is blasting off into new territory with its Star Wars crossover event. This intergalactic partnership represents one of Scopely's most ambitious collaborations to date.

When Does the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Event Begin?

The cosmic adventure runs from May 1st through July 2nd, kicking off with an entertaining premise. The game's robotic character PEG-E gets immersed in Star Wars after watching the films in Mr. Monopoly's private theater.

This cinematic experience transports PEG-E and friends into an alternate Star Wars reality, where property collecting gives way to lightsaber duels and the eternal battle between Jedi and Sith.

What to Expect From the Crossover

Players can collect a special Star Wars sticker album presented as a comic book reimagining the Star Wars saga through PEG-E's vivid imagination. The collection features fan-favorite characters including:

• Iconic droids R2-D2, C-3PO and BB-8
• Legendary heroes like Yoda, Luke Skywalker and Rey
• Villains including Darth Vader and Kylo Ren
• Beloved characters from Han Solo to Grogu

The event transforms standard Monopoly GO gameplay with Star Wars-themed locations including Tatooine's Mos Espa Grand Arena. Even podracing makes an appearance with Qui-Gon Jinn and Mr. Monopoly at the helm.
