Max Hunter Rank in Monster Hunter Wilds: Tips to Increase

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, while your character doesn't level up with stat boosts like in traditional RPGs, understanding the Hunter Rank (HR) system is crucial for your progression. Here's a comprehensive guide on the maximum Hunter Rank and how to elevate it.

Monster Hunter Wilds Max HR Explained

As of now, *Monster Hunter Wilds* does not have a maximum Hunter Rank or HR cap. Similar to its predecessors, you can continuously increase your Hunter Rank throughout your gameplay. Every 10 ranks, you'll receive a small reward, incentivizing you to push your HR as high as possible. However, once you've completed all High Rank missions, further grinding your HR might only serve as a point of pride rather than a necessity.

How to Increase Hunter Rank

Increasing your Hunter Rank in *Monster Hunter Wilds* is straightforward. Focus on completing the main story missions, as these are the key to raising your HR during the story portion of the game. Optional side quests won't contribute to your HR, so prioritize the main storyline. Your Hunter Rank is significant because it determines which monsters you can hunt in online play, ensuring you stay competitive, especially when playing with friends.

Once you reach High Rank missions, new challenges will emerge as you defeat new and Tempered monsters. Concentrate on these to boost your HR quickly.
