"Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Launches—From Life is Strange Creators"

The French studio Don't Nod, renowned for their work on Life is Strange, has just released the first chapter of their latest narrative-driven experience. Players can now immerse themselves in "Tape 1," with "Tape 2" set to be available for free to all buyers starting April 15. Initially unveiled in 2023, this game delves into the story of a tight-knit group of friends who were mysteriously separated during the summer of 1995. Fast forward 27 years, and the ghosts of that fateful summer resurface, unleashing chilling repercussions that none of them could have anticipated.

The game draws inspiration from classics like "It," "Yellowjackets," and "I Know What You Did Last Summer," seamlessly weaving together elements of nostalgia and psychological thriller. Don't Nod has decided to release the game in two parts: "Bloom" and "Rage." As of today, February 18, only the first installment of this haunting narrative, "Bloom," is accessible to players.

The second part, known internally as "The Tape," is slated for release on April 15. Originally scheduled for March, the launch was postponed to guarantee a more refined experience for players. In the meantime, the review embargo has been lifted, and OpenCritic reports an impressive average critic score of 74/100, indicating a promising start for this enthralling mystery.
