It's May, and LEGO enthusiasts have plenty to look forward to with a fresh lineup of sets ready to be snapped up. This month, the spotlight shines brightly on LEGO Star Wars sets, a nod to the iconic "May the Fourth" celebration. Alongside these, other exciting releases and preorders for future sets are also hitting the shelves. Let's dive into what's new and noteworthy.
LEGO Mario Kart Releases May 15
LEGO Mario Kart: Mario & Standard Kart
$169.99 at LEGO Store | $169.99 at Walmart
While most LEGO Mario sets cater to younger fans, the bigger sets aimed at adults, like the Mario & Yoshi LEGO set or the LEGO Piranha Plant, are my personal favorites. They capture iconic imagery from the series beautifully. The latest addition, featuring Mario in a kart, is set to release just before the anticipated launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World on June 5.
