Kingambit Debuts in Pokémon Go's Crown Clash Event

- Crown Clash runs from May 10th to 18th - Kingambit arrives alongside special crown-wearing Nidoqueen and Nidoking versions - Numerous rewards available throughout the event

As trainers prepare for Sweet Discoveries festivities, Pokémon Go announces its regal Crown Clash event occurring May 10th through 18th. During this limited-time battle-focused event, players can evolve the powerful Kingambit, collect crown-adorned Pokémon variants, hunt for shinies, and earn bonus evolution XP.

The strategic Big Blade Pokémon Kingambit makes its Pokémon Go debut during Crown Clash. To evolve your own Kingambit, you'll need to:

1. Set Bisharp as your buddy Pokémon
2. Win 15 Raid Battles against Dark- or Steel-type opponents

Note that Bisharp doesn't need to participate directly - simply having it as your active buddy during victories counts toward evolution requirements.

The event introduces special crown-wearing versions of Nidoqueen and Nidoking, with potential Shiny encounters available. These royal variants will appear as featured three-star raid bosses, while one-star raids showcase Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.

Wild spawns receive boosted appearances for:

• Slowpoke (possible King's Rock drop)
• Slakoth
• Piplup
• Combee
• Snivy
• Litleo
• Pawniard (increased spawn rates)
