The King of Fighters AFK launches early access in Canada and Thailand for Android and iOS

The King of Fighters AFK is now available in early access for Thailand and Canada! Fans in these regions can download the game on Google Play and the iOS App Store. Early access players are guaranteed to recruit Mature from the Orochi Clan.

Netmarble's latest mobile offering, King of Fighters AFK, launched its pre-registration just last week and has quickly moved to early access. This retro RPG-inspired title features 5v5 battles with your favorite characters from the iconic fighting game franchise. Your progress will carry over to the full release.

King of Fighters AFK offers a unique take on the series, building teams of distinct characters for strategic combat. However, it faces competition and may need to win back fans after the closure of King of Fighters Allstar. Unlike Allstar, which featured notable crossovers (such as with WWE), AFK ventures into a different genre.

The game's Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired sprites and the guaranteed Mature recruitment might attract some players. But for those who were disappointed by previous mobile entries, this might be a hard sell. Hopefully, King of Fighters AFK will offer a relaxing and enjoyable experience for fans.
