Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 Launches with Fate/Stay Night Event

With the upcoming launch of their cafe in Berlin (yes, really), MiHoYo is full steam ahead with amazing new updates for their popular game collection. Take Version 3.4 of Honkai: Star Rail, scheduled for July 2nd! What’s inside? Well, just a tiny collaboration featuring one of the most beloved anime series in history.

First, in Version 3.4 "For the Sun is Set to Die," you can recruit the all-new character Phainon. Recent story followers will be thrilled to see him join the playable roster—he's been a critical ally in the Trailblazer’s adventure.

Phainon shines just as brightly in combat, using a unique system that revolves around collecting a consumable currency called Coreflames. Once enough are stockpiled, he unleashes his Ultimate ability, transforms, and creates a Territory that temporarily removes other party members while preserving their stat boosts—letting him dominate the fight solo in a powerful new state.

There's plenty here for longtime Honkai: Star Rail players, but the excitement doesn’t stop there. Phainon is joined by two even more iconic characters—Saber and Archer from Fate/Stay Night.

Hailing from the celebrated multimedia franchise, once the collab event begins on July 11th, logging in will reward you with the five-star Archer for free. A great incentive even for those new to the Fate/Stay Night universe.
