Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Update: Hope Reignited with 'Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne'

Get ready, Trailblazers! Honkai: Star Rail is set to launch its thrilling Version 3.1 update titled 'Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne' on February 26th. This update promises to propel the Flame-Chase Journey to new heights, plunging players into unexplored territories and unraveling fresh mysteries.

Honkai Star Rail Version 3.1 Introduces New Characters

Version 3.1 brings two exciting 5-star characters to the roster: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the storyline where Nikador’s Coreflame was secured, players will now venture into the Grove of Epiphany, a brand new map. As part of the main Trailblaze Mission, you'll be tasked with rescuing survivors and uncovering the truth behind a recent catastrophe. Your journey will then lead you to reclaim Cerces’ Coreflame, reigniting hope in Okhema.

Delve deeper into the Abyss of Fate, previously known as Janusopolis, now revealed in its Day State. This setting will explore the forgotten history of the Era Chrysea and delve into Tribbie's past. Tribbie, also known as Tribios, is a demigod and a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony. As the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, she received a prophecy from Kephale about Deliverance and embarked on a mission to spread this message.

Mydei, on the other hand, is the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos and a fierce warrior. As a 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction, he sacrifices his own HP to charge up, then transforms into an enhanced form, automatically attacking enemies during his turns.

Who’s Returning?

Version 3.1 also offers another chance to obtain some returning characters. The limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo are making a comeback. Yunli will be available in the first half of the warp event, while Huohuo will appear in the second half.

In terms of events, the new season of Divergent Universe introduces a research focus on Amphoreus and a Day and Night System for battles. This system will dynamically change combat dynamics, with different buffs and effects triggered depending on the time of day.
