by Isaac Dec 10,2025

Split Fiction is officially getting a Hollywood adaptation, with Variety reporting that multiple major studios are competing for the film rights. Producers are currently assembling a complete creative package for the project.

Industry sources reveal that Story Kitchen – a production company specializing in game adaptations like their current It Takes Two movie based on Hazelight's previous title – is coordinating writers, directors and casting. Their portfolio also includes the Sonic films and Netflix's Tomb Raider animated series (originally developed under their former name dj2 Entertainment).

No other production details have been revealed yet.
