Halo Infinite Community Devs Release PvE Mode That Takes a Page From Helldivers 2's Playbook

Helljumpers: A Helldivers 2-Inspired PvE Mode for Halo Infinite

Now Available on Xbox and PC!

The Forge Falcons have unleashed "Helljumpers," a free, early-access PvE mode available now in Halo Infinite Custom Games for Xbox and PC. This community-created experience draws heavily from the acclaimed 2024 title, Helldivers 2, by Arrowhead Game Studios.

Built within Halo Infinite's Forge map editor, Helljumpers delivers a 4-player cooperative adventure featuring: bespoke strategic options; a meticulously crafted urban map with randomly generated objectives; and a progression system echoing Helldivers 2's upgrade unlocks.

Helljumpers plunges players into six distinct battlefield deployments per game, mirroring the Helldivers experience. Before each drop, players equip custom loadouts, choosing from a variety of weapons (including Assault Rifles and Sidekick pistols) that can be re-supplied via dropship. A perk system allows upgrades focusing on health, damage, and speed. On the ground, teams must complete three objectives – one story objective and two main objectives – before extraction.
