As announced in their recent X (formerly Twitter) post, Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. Supergiant Games celebrated this milestone by expressing gratitude to their supportive community and hinting at an approaching full release.

Their post stated, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades followed a similar path, spending 22 months in early access before its full release. However, Supergiant aims to bring Hades 2 to completion more swiftly, with plans for an initial time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
